PrepGym is built by RudraSphere — a small team of engineers from FAANG, Indian product startups, and IIT campuses. We've been on both sides of the interview table, and we know how broken the system is.
Our mission
World-class interview preparation in India is gated by money, geography, and luck. A student in Bhopal shouldn't get worse feedback than one in Bangalore. We're using AI — voice, vision, and language — to close that gap. Every Indian student who wants to crack an interview deserves an interviewer that listens, asks follow-ups, and tells them the truth about how they performed.
What we believe
- Free should mean free — no paywalls on the core experience.
- Practice without feedback is worse than no practice at all.
- Voice is the right interface for interviews — not chatbots, not forms.
- Data belongs to students. We host in India, encrypted, deletable any time.
- Open source where we can. Proprietary only where it gives students an edge.
Free will always be free. We charge institutions and power users — never the student who needs it most.

Most of PrepGym's core — the rubric engine, voice agent, exam patterns — is open source under the Apache 2.0 license. Read the code, file an issue, send a PR.
